March 16th is a month away, and it has been several months since I asked on the IDL why the ABL wasn't in the dealer ordering guide as it was shown in previous internet material, and the mention of a possible issue was brought up.
Worry after March 16th. Anything prior to that is a waste.

Right, because ABL missing from the ordering guide is such a great sign that we shouldn't worry, not to mention if any GM rep(usually at the auto shows) lets something slip about ABL it's negative. We've heard it doesn't look right on the dash, to keeping ABL on the doors only, to delays, and finally just omitting ABL altogether. We've heard NOTHING positive about it.
GM knows what they're going to do with it...you can't say "Hey, we think we got ABL working! Let's just go with it!" in such a small time frame. There isn't enough time left for GM to pull a 180 on ABL,; they're most likely working on damage control instead. How about we worry now; keeping quiet about a huge letdown would be a waste.
At least if we don't get ABL we can then start calling out the GM reps who knew ABL wasn't coming and kept quiet while people would have loved to change to a 1LT or 1SS (to save money, get the car faster, etc). I will make sure they get the questioning of a lifetime for their silence if ABL isn't there; topics like this will support my stance. It's hard to berate someone about their silence if they say "Well, you guys just stopped caring about ABL so we didn't feel the need to talk about it..." This topic will never end, even if I have to talk to myself.
