Look at the Vettes. It's about 500 lbs lighter and have much better aerodynamics and didn't get to 200 on the same engine. NASCAR was lighter, more powerful, lower and have everything taped off to reduce drags. force/power needs to be increasing by the velocity square. It takes a lot of power to get to 200 unless you can greatly reduce the drags.
