Yes and like I said, balancing the engine and/ or installing a higher final drive gear could make either one reach that speed. How do you think Hot rodders can make a 30 year old engine block handle 10,000 rpms? They balance the components, stock component may be close but they are not perfectly balanced. Unbalanced weight in your drive train is about 80% of the reason the typical engine red lines at 6-8k rpms. So if your current Camaro SS2 could handle 10k then what would your top speed be?
