I personal need the 3rd brake light to make my car legal to pass inspection here.. so it worked out for me with the third brake light..( I tinted over the one in the window, and since you cant see it anymore it has been disconnected.)

That is what I had in mind if I get this spoiler. Personally I would rather deal with the third brake light than the longer side pieces of the original design.
I am actually planning to look into what it would cost to have by front and rear Fascia side marker filled in along with this spoiler and have a strip of LED installed like the AAC side markers without the lens. That would be my ultimate goal if I can ever get back to work.
