And the 2nd gear part number should be 19256243, right?
I'll also make sure they order the Input Shaft Shims, part number 19178669-76, if they decide to do anything at all, that is... I wrote down the part and dealer info from others who have gotten theirs fixed correctly as well. Hopefully the service manager will be willing to call another dealership to verify that this is an actual problem and not just "Operating as Designed".....

If you are having the problem and it is well documented, I wouldn't settle for anything less than a change out of the existing trans to a new one. In the long run it is cheaper for the dealer time wise to just do a swap out. Tearing one down and rebuilding it is much more time consuming. The GM Hotline may be helpful if there are questions/complaints. At this point there is only one person I know of that would touch my Tremec and he is on the east coast and I am on the west! (Rick@rkt56 is the man!)
