Being the receiving end of the poor responses, of course I agree with you.

I have to remind myself that this is probably a unique situation for the dealer. They don't deal with preorder events like this very often, where the car isn't yet in production. They also appear to be entirely clueless about what it takes to make an enthusiast happy. They just want to sell cars, and they obviously expect their customers to just buy them. Forget all this other stuff about following the internals of the order process, debating over ABL or whatnot.

I know I'm too lenient with the dealer. It's what keeps my irritation in check, though.
