Maybe because the first customer ordered a 2SS and the second customer ordered a lowly LS.. The second customer gets no respect..
Listen I have ordered 2 Saturn Skys, and on both the dealer kept me completely up to date witht he order status, and where i stood in line for my order to get pulled.. now I don't think it is too much to ask of a dealer, it is not like they are covered up in business rignt now anyway.

Again, the world for dealers doesn't revolve around Camaro. You don't know what other deals any dealer is working on or whether or not they are busy or slow.
What exactly is the scenario above? So do you have all the details or is it a "what if" situation? I know this. If a dealer has 5 orders. Gets his weekly allocation on a Thursday and runs a Pass One. Order 1 is on constraint and customer is steadfast on equipment. Number 2 can move up to number 1's place but is out of town. Dealer calls number 3 to move up to number 1 now, etc. This all has to happen by Tuesday so the dealer doesn't lose the order. It's alot to manage but the bottom line is there is only so much the dealer can do. Now if they are not doing what they are supposed to do without outside influences beyond their control (GM, customer, shipping, etc.), then they should be held accountable.
