They will say you need to let it warm up. Mine started doing it when cold, I followed their recomendation of pausing my shift from 1-2, but eventually it started doing it when it was fully warm too. If yours is doing it when warm you need to go to the customer service website if the dealer won't help you, and they will probably give you the same story. After they deny you, ask for the address you can send a letter to and send in a letter with all your details. Someone from gm corporate will call you and get your car fixed, at least they did with me.
