I personally just love the sound of a V8. As long as you are happy in your choice who cares what others think.(well you may have to impress a Wife or SO LOL) Just make sure you are happy with your choice and live with it. Don't rebadge a car to make it something it is not.
We used to live in Vegas and used to see "regular" Mercs and Bimmers and even Hondas with AMG and M3/5 badges LOL. Not going to impress people who could care less about cars and fool people who really are car enthusiasts.You would make them laugh though. Enjoy your car.
