I received word back from GM and we are ‘GO’ on our logo.
Kathryn is doing her thing with it and also getting a trademark for us, and I’m going to fill out the authorization paperwork with GM for the family. When I get all of that in place we can begin using the logo on items.

Tusk is getting the information on the LLC. We will work on registering the name and seek not-for-profit status. This way we are legal no matter which way we go....relaxed family like now or structured.

GM was very appreciative that we are being proactive and going about this in the right manner.

GM said that no one is doing anything like ours-which is great!
The logo and word marks (meaning the Camaro script and Chevrolet) can only be used as part of our club logo and for use on merchandise for sale to CLUB MEMBERS ONLY and ONLY if we are NOT-FOR-PROFIT.
So we will need a member roster in the near future.
Personally, I feel no need to have elected officers at this time. The relaxed atmosphere is what brought us all together. We all have fluid schedules, so we can gather information or T-shirt and decal orders via PM or thread until the need arises. Just a suggestion.

I will keep you posted either by PM or on this thread or da fam'ly thread. This is taking a while to accomplish, but please do not let it keep anyone from organizing a meet n greet.

Sweet That's sounds great. When you mentioned decals, maybe something like the C5 window stickers, but with maybe ECC or the full name. Those would look nice on the cars.
