In the first post, I did not know that Subaru changed the name of the STi to the WRX STi. I thought the WRX STi was the base model, and the STi is what would be equivalent to an Camaro SS.

But aparently they changed the name of the newer versions to WRX STi. I tried to make this clear on page two by giving the times of the two cars, (my apoligies) I didn't.

Since the 1994 STi is so rare anyway, I don't think I'll be seeing any on the streets anytime soon, so we can drop that race.

Now on page 2, we came to the conclusion, that stock for stock, an WRX STi will beat a 1994 Camaro Z28. But, from the price difference of the two (even from the price of a new camaro at the time), which is a difference of $13,831 (look at my earlier post), you can do enough mods and custimizations to that 1994 Camaro Z28 to beat this WRX STi.
