It's pretty easy to lose the first 150lbs with mods that will increase your performance and lessen weight. E.g. headers and full exhaust, forged rims, a good number of misc things (e.g. CAI, pulley, etc.), plus standard weight removal (trunk stuff, mats, whatever). The Braille battery is just one of those things that also happens to be a good performing battery.
That 150 lbs alone is worth ~0.15 in the 1/4-mile which matters to some.
