I know this is an old thread, but this bugs the heck out of me! I had subs in my old truck, but I am trying not to add any to the Camaro, but the stock rattle is so annoying even at moderate volume. Anybody fix this specific issue yet? I think my rattling is coming from the same place as the OP, not the trunk lid itself.
