I second this sentiment.
Personally, the V6 is more along the lines of what I want also. Even if I could afford the SS, I'd just get the V6. I like the sound better (don't shoot me! just stating my opinion) and the power will be more than enough for me, plus the better mileage, cheaper insurance, and lower payment. I just want the RWD and enough power to have fun with it. And my car WILL see the track from time to time (not drag strip, a road course) so the whole V6 isn't for racing thing - you can shove it.
