I did a quick search and I found a modded one that does 0-60 in 5.5.
I got a 1987 Camaro IROC-Z with a new 5.7 liter 350 and new tranny. Here are the mods I got into it.
700R4 Trans. 2200 STALL/Performance shift kit
7GAGE PRFM wires
Platinum + 4 high PRFM spark plugs
New Altinator
High PRFM 3 1/2 cat- PRO-FLO
Exhaust pipe 3 1/2 to muffler Pre-Fit
Flo-Pro High performance exhaust
Fuel Filter
PRFM air filters
PCV Valave and hose

Performance should be about the same. When I test drive the V6 I expect the experience to be at least equal to my old camaro. If it isn't then I'm gonna have to figure something out. But they should be very similar in terms of power, 0-60, and 1/4 mile times... If not faster.
