don't know who told you that but they could not be further from the truth, how are they cooling better if you are basically cutting all air flow to them?, if they gave you the reason that the covers are made of aluminum and aluminum disipates heat better that is all

your Brembo calipers (and most calipers now a days) are made of aluminum, why do they need another cover made of aluminum to cool them faster, and I would not want to go to the track with calipers covers, one of those things come off and you would have major damage in your hands.
the dust reason might be true but not worth it to cover up beautifull Brembo calipers,
but that is just my $0.02 if you guys like them more power to you, but there is cero performance benefits at all
