Well I already do experince it, but to a lesser degree. I drive my Camaro quite often when it's nice out. I must say that I've had some pretty ridiculous things said and asked, usually when I'm at the gas station. I make special effort to be as nice as I can and respond positively, after all they did express interest. I strive to remember that in this situation I am acting as an ambassador representing Camaro owners as a whole. I would hate to have people left with the impression that, "Those Camaro owners sure are ****'s!"
Edit: Don't really get people asking to sit in it, usually just want a picture standing next to it. But I have had them ask if their kid can sit in it for a picture which I'm more than happy to do. "Possibly influence and create a life long Camaro fan?, You bet!"
And I'm more than happy to open/close the hood, if they're interested enough and nice enough to ask I find it quite flattering and am happy to comply!
P.S. irpq11, when people act like that I won't even bother flattering them, wouldn't want a picture of their stinkin' car anyway!
