I went into my dealer today, (i live on guam and its the only chevy dealer on island) and this is pretty much how the convo went.

Do you guys have any allocations left for the 2010 camaro.
Oh no we wont be getting one this year.
Ok cuz i know alot of dealerships had allocations that customers could pre-order for. I wanted to get one but you guys dont have an allocation for the preorder?
Oh what kind did you want? cuz you know it comes with three engines, the 6 the 8 and the super 8

Oh well you see, all the pre-orders were is a way for GM to see what combinations would be popular, those people really arnt going to get there orders, it was more like a survey.


I just turned around and walked out the door without saying anything else. No way im going to order from a dealership that the MANAGER knows that little about the cars he is selling.
