Sidetracked, I assume you already asked your dealer about transfering your order. I cancelled my original order with a dealer over bad service, but when I originally when in to cancel, they told me I could not get my deposit back (good thing I used a credit card). I asked if I could transfer my order to another person, similar to what you are talking about, they said no, becuase the order was for me. I got my money back from my credit card company so I did not loose anything.
Just thought I would check, cause it sounds like your deposit was NON-REFUNDABLE, or am I just assuming that.
