Exclamation Spring Install affected my car's weight - NOT GOOD for racing

Anyone who's installed springs might be interested in this.

Been having problems getting off the line at the track lately. I've got trailing arms, swaybars, lowering springs and 18" Mickey Thompson DR's and still can't break a 1.9 60'

First thing we noticed was only the right tire was spinning on burnouts so we installed the JRE posi mod and went straight back out to the track.

Spinning both tires now, but at launch and every shift the car would break loose and not run in a straight line. Had to fight it all the way down the track to the point it was scary...

Owen at ARD suggested we put it on the scales and check all the suspension parts. The results totally shocked me (not him) as you can see in the pics the left rear mounts were not tightened down in the original factory position and there is a lot of play up there.

I've had lowering springs for a while, the car is perfectly aligned and drives great. The recent round of HP upgrades and running at the track exposed this one in a couple of ways. Left tire would not spin and car would not leave straight. We also have GoPro video somewhere that shows the car diving to one side on takeoff.

I would have never know this without scales... Check out the left rear at 490lbs... a simple loosen bolts and pry back over brought it to 886 which was much better. Then we put a 1/8 shim under each bolt and got it even closer.

EDIT: Quite sure my ONE WHEEL BURNOUT was attributed to this, however the posi mod does work quite well. I now do much better burnouts and getting 1.70 or better 60' times
