but you do not know the circumstances with my tire problem, do not assume you know about every senario that can occur.

You can drive many miles at 70 mph with low air (low air and summer heat will cause a tire to overheat quickly I had traveled about 30 miles before the tire started making noise.) in the tire and never feel it until it has damaged the tire beyond repair. If you had looked at the tire from the outside you would have thought it was repairable, but when the tire came off the rim you could see from the inside of the tire how the layers had seperated.
but like i said witht he tire pressure monitors that senario is history because you will be warned a long time before anything really bad happens.
See there is the problem damaged beyond repair is not the same as a blow out.
