It's obvious the reason he chose to buy the new Camaro over the Corvette ZR-1 is because he likes Camaros alot end of story. All you have to do is watch every episode of Diners Drive Ins & Dives to know that because every episode he is driving in a 67 or 68 red convertible Camaro. Dont get me wrong I would LOVE to own a new Corvette ZR-1 its a dream car of mine too but the C6 Corvettes are getting kind of stale design wise since they have been out a while while I still like them thats why the new C7 is coming out in about a year. The new Camaro on the other hand is one of the sexiest cars on the road today its a newer car and on top of that this cars design just seems to NEVER get old to people. I have had my 2010 Camaro for close to two years now and still get thumbs up, stares and people gawking at it.
