DE, wasn't directed at you. just seems that every fest is over 1500+ miles from me. (This year it is 2800 miles 1 way). I have to take a six hour plane flight to get there. Yea..:(
I got lucky this year, as a few sponsors paid the bill to ship my car out to the fest. Otherwise I would be like everyone else in the northeast and not be going. It's still costing me more than I can afford right now. I would have backed out if my car wasn't already 1/2 way there already.
It just seems that if it does wind up in the center of the country, it would wind up WAY south, to make it another super long commute from here. Spending 8 days to travel back and forth to an event that is 2 days long is not how I want to spend my time.
I guess I'll just stop complaining and let the fest go where ever the mods want to put it, and not attend.
