I'm taller and usually have to move the seat back. I'd really like it if the shifter was in a comfortable position, so that I don't have to reach forward to shift :P That gets annoying.
As for an armrest, I wouldn't really use one. It would get in the way of shifting
My pulsar doesn't have any cupholders, but I don't have issues, just hold it between my legs or by my hip next to my seatbelt clip.
