I voted "
Eh, it's a third gen, have fun with it!" because, well, it is. I've never really cared for the 3rd gen and an 89 isn't going to be worth much these days anyway. And if they do go up to "classic" status, it will take a LONG time to get there.
IMO, cars are meant to be driven so slap the mods on and go have fun Autocrossing
