If you order a burger and it isn't cooked, eat it anyway, you ungreatful person. They made a burger that you paid for and it doesn't have to taste good, or even be edible. If you buy a computer and it crashes every 30 seconds, please don't bother the company about fixing it you ungrateful person. They built you a computer that you paid for and it can work whenever it wants.
I'm the customer. It is GM's job to please me, not the other way around. The sooner GM gets that into their heads the better, or else they won't be around much longer.

But an uncoked burger

and a computer that crashes

are different that just the ABL not working the way some thought it would.
Now if the burger had no pickles, that would be a better analogy.
Or if the computer was missing a program that you thought it was supposed to have. That would also be a better analogy.
I'm just saying. It could be rectified later. In your analogy, the Camaro would have to be missing the motor.
