If he's talking about just the LS7 block with no internals, then obviously it would cost more, but still not bad with the right shop and tuner. All the LS motors are based on the same platform, so the biggest problem is programming the computer, IMHO.

Tuning is also very easy, its not some dark science. Like you said you just need the right shop or just the right tuner
