Well 808Camaro, imho it's all what you are into. My view is I'd rather spend the $$$ and enjoy it than let the nursing home get it all - as I've seen with so many retired neighbors who have since passed on.
Except for one lady, Grace W., who drove a '69 dark green Camaro hardtop she must have bought new. It had a 250 6-cyl. with 2-speed powerglide automatic, she let me tune it up for her when I was in high school in '78. Man that car wound up 1st to 2nd! Not real fast, but a sweet car still!
That being said,
I'd never pay over sticker. Check with someone in the forum like BeckyD if you need a second opinion, I did and that's how I'm buying
OrangeVert. It once and for all cut out the usual "car buying
dance" that I was about to get into, and I got an excellent price as well, not to mention one of the sweetest and hottest rides ever to be made by GM! Imho, if it's what you want then I would go for it! Heck, I did and believe me I'm a #1 cheapskate - just ask my wife. But I couldn't resist its beauty and ZZZooooMMM!!! Good luck with your decision.
