No Tickets!!!

Made it in about 7:53pm local time (whatever time zone that is).

Total one-way mileage: 1728.3--740.5 Wednesday and 987.8 today.

Total of 25 hours and change-11 3/4 hours first day into San Antonio and the rest today.

Ave 22.7 mpg and 66.7 mph.

Drive wasn't bad except for Baton Rouge-construction, Houston-rush hour, El Paso-wreck traffic, and didn't get stopped once (knocking on desk). Ran solo the whole way except for a little stint between Houston and SA with a guy from FL of all places, didn't recognize him and couldn't get county on tag.

West of San Antonio the wind was unbelievable, gusts that almost blew me off the road. I hit a tumbleweed the size of a beach ball at 95mph (I zigged, it zagged)...I haven't looked yet in case your wondering.

Here's how I would describe my arrival at the hotel (both host hotels are adjoined and use the same huge parking lots) "--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------" (insert how you would describe the coolest thing you have EVER SEEN !!!! Yes Regina, I am once again in sensory overload x 1000000000000000!

Gonna hit the sack and get up early and try to wash off all that road funk and tumbleweed.

I'll post pictures as soon as I can find my cord.

Have a great weekend and be safe!!
