Im sure the orange panels would still run acros the doors and dash, dont worry about that, just worry about getting some type of ABL to work for the dash after.
Whoever said that using the technology from the CTS would be stupid because it would be copying is just completely wrong. The car has an LS3, not its own camaro engine, it has a 3.6 DI v6 that is shared with the CTS, if they tried to use new tech on every car, they wouyld be bankrupt.
Go get a rice burner because the option that Chevy boosted and promised isnt there, and customers are upset, because of that, i should buy a rice burner. These comments just make me laugh, if GM promised you the LS#, then gave you a turbo 4 banger, would you still love your camaro, would you not whine about it? A promised option, is a promised option, dont expect people to not get upset, especially when they have payed for it. I understand that it may not seem like a big deal to many, but to some it is, to each their own. I wish it wouldve been the way they presented it, i still dont think the heat cycle test is valid enough, but atleast they tried. As much as we complain, i doubt that this option will be available the way we want it for production, but i will be pissed if it is for the 2011 model.
I just hope that for some reason, they get it fixed and then add it to the production cars later to connect it with the door panels, is there any way we can voice this to GM?
