like fish said...high flow cats. I have the Borla S type...I started with the axle back as well because I needed an immediate improvement over stock when I purchased the car, I was broke as hell after the purchase so I could only afford the axle back...
I love the tone, I think its the best on the market...it seems you agree, so you want the volume increase. If you are strapped on cash. Go high flow cats first....or just dive into the whole thing. I went right into high flow cats and long tubes... no X pipe will not give you the sound LEVEL increase you seem to want. It WILL however give you an even nicer tone than you already have, but for actual decibel levels...no
You may not want that much volume increase that comes with long tubes and high flows.. High flows will give you the sound you want, and for much cheaper than LTs. If you find yourself wanting MORE sound and MORE performance...then keep your high flows and get long tube headers as well. Just remember headers generally require a tune and tune will kill your power train warranty unless it is a factory defect.
