search for user JDPMotorsports on here. His name is Jordan...hopefully he is still active on here because he is very helpful and would be able to give you and answer concerning any differences with those two mufflers soundwise. I believe he also represents magnaflowplus.com and he may even give you a discount code if you ask!
I'd stick with the oval body muffler as opposed to the round style....again it is all opinion, but from what your saying I'd stick with what your looking into.
One plus with the magnaflows is almost always a guaranteed nice low tone at cruising speeds with very minimal rasp...so don't worry about that.
I'm guessing you've seen the reference video of the Yellow V6 I mentioned in my threads before....if you like that sound (bit more aggressive than mine) I'd try just the mufflers and tips first. If you want it mellower, softer, or less drone after that then install the resonated X.
I hope this helps and don't hesitate to keep the questions comming if you have more!

Thanks again. Yeah, after your last post and another review of the yellow video you looked at, I decided to do just the muffler swap for now. If needed, I can add that Xpipe (or other stuff I dont know about yet) later like you said.
I did a quick search about center vs offset and sound on google earlier, most responses were on truck forums, and most said that it doesn't affect tone, it's just for fitment ease. I've sent the info to a shop I was recommended to, so I'll let them tell me which one will be easier for them to install before I buy.
I'll shoot JDM a PM before I buy for sure, thanks for the tip there.
