Seriously, though. Even shorties are only legal if they're CARB approved in California; and, with the recent changes to CARB regulations, each component has to have a sticker/stamp with the EO Number (from what I read).

Thankfully, the OP doesn't live in this god-forsaken state; so, it just comes down to whether or not the performance increase with long-tubes, and possibly high-flow cats, is worth that annoying little CEL on your dash and your remote-start not working.
