I realize you deleted your post, but obviously it was a tad bit to late.
FWIW... I never compared the V6 to a V8...

This is what I posted... maybe you should open up your mind a tad, read it and then tell me where I said anything that wasnt either true OR stated as MY OPINION... the only mention of V8 was the tongue in cheek line in the beginning about how someone would surely take it the wrong way... which I was spot on.

"I am sorry, you will all probably take this as a V8 guy peeing on the V6ers parade but I have to say this thread is full of FAIL!

First, cuts outs dont add shit except for noise and they take away torque. IMO cutouts are the biggest waste of money, ESPECIALLY on a V6 which isnt that good sounding of an engine anyhow, especially with open pipes.

Next... 400 RWHP from a V6 without a SC or turbo... nadda gonna happen! EVER. Well maybe with a 125 shot of NOS or N2O or what ever the hell you want to call it...

Third... again all you armchair racers chasiing HP on the V6 will still get your asses handed to you by most sport coupe "performance" cars... WHY? Simple, the car has HIGH weight and LOW torque. Period, end of story, live with it, be happy with your V6 for whatever reason you bought it... I really dont care. I see nothing wrong with a V6 Camaro... they are every bit as cool and bad ass as my V8 BUT... you will never match the torque produced by the V8... Sorry... live with it.

GM did a GREAT job with the V6 but it ain't no race car!

Happy Easter everyone!
