I just think it is ridiculas for someone to say I'm hating on Halos (which I never did anyway) just because I don't have them. I'm not trying to justify not having the Halos because my didn't happen to come that way. I like the look of the chrome Halogen housing better than the the black RS headlight and I specifically ordered my car that way if.
Even if I had to stick to the halogen bulb I still would've bought the non-RS just for the looks of the chrome housing. I prefer it over black RS housing.
90% of people that buy the 5th Gen buy the RS to get the Halos because that's what they like but there are still the 10% of us out that that prefer the chrome housing....that's all I'm saying.

I agree. BTW, your lights look awesome! I think the chrome housing look with the HID bulbs is the way to go.

And hey, to each their own of course, but GM should have just made 1 look, not an
"RS" package almost everyone wants anyway... just odd. But, I suppose it makes
them more money in some way I'm sure.

I think they should have just made one look as well. Though I guess that is why GM is offering them standard now on the 2012's (or so I've read, correct me if I'm wrong).
I think why they did it is twofold: First of all, some people fear change and new things forced upon them so it helps settle the masses when they are offered a choice, no matter how small or trivial. Secondly I believe GM did make some money on the RS package (obv), but also wanted to test out the markets response to the features before making them standard.
