Yes that's the switch mounted in the cup holders.
Yep. Passenger side also has a light.
There is a cable that splits the power going to the Aux/lighter port in center console.
The power, switch, and lights all plug into this unit.
Page 1-9 has detailed pics of the install of the power connection.
