Then why do you list an LT/RS as the car you own. Either way, insecurity has nothing to do with it. I use my car for more than just driving around looking cool. I like to race ,and it makes no sense trying to make a V-6 into a V-8 for a whole lot of money and still be slower than the V-8 guy that spent the same money on his car. If I wanted a car just to drive around in to site see, I might have bought a V-6. I have no problem with them at all. I just can't understand why someone would buy a V-6 and spend cobs of money trying to make it like a V-8. AS far as clearing up why V-6's don't sound like V-8's well, I have to disagree with many of the points you brought up. Bore size doesn't have as much to do with it as you seem to think.
