Oh, by the way - just in case nobody knows, the new Camaro is essentially an Australian vehicle (it's built on the Vauxhall VXR8 chassis, which is a family member to the Holden Monaro AKA Pontiac GTO), not American.

You should buy the book "Camaro-A Legend Reborn", by Larry Edsall. A great read that covers most questions one could have on the Camaro. Australia played a major part in creating the 5th gen. The only sad part was that GM had canned production of the car with the drivers wheel on the right side due to costs involved, which meant no Camaro for the Aussies who helped so much.
Definitely not something to be bummed about.
