We should start saying "Manual Specs" and "Factory Specs" to be specific when it comes to the Camaro. The actual factory that builds the Camaro sets them at 100 ft-lbs, even though the owner's manual says 140 ft-lbs. Don't believe me? Anyone that has never loosened a lug nut on their Camaro, grab a torque wrench and set it to 90 ft lbs to see if you can loosen a lug before the wrench clicks. Then set it at 95, 97, 98, 99, 100 etc. to see where it comes off. Just about every Camaro I've tested (and owned) is set at 100 ft-lbs. From the "factory".
