15 qts in a 4l60? how deep is your trans pan? how big is your trans cooler?

you should only need 12-13 qts in a 4l60.


I used to use mobil 1 in the Durango just changed it last week to RP.

a friend of mine has an 04 (IIRC) GTO and had been using $2.00 conventional oil for the longest time. he switched to Mobil 1 and lost 7 hp across the board on the dyno. (cus he's a weirdo that goes to the dyno after every mod. new clutch.... dyno. new air filter.....dyno. new oil.... dyno. he's also pushing over 400hp to the ground with the stock cam.... but thats another story).
