So I'm looking at roughly 20 months of coverage and 27K miles. GMs GMPP Major guard is not really a bumper to bumper coverage plan from what I saw. Does GM offer a plan that is truly equal to the 3/36 factory plan?
The dealer should've been able to certify the car, which adds an additional 12month/12k to the factory warranty.

Besides that, the GMPP major guard is the most inclusive warranty you can get. It will cover basically everything except interior trim and consumable parts like brakes, clutch and wiper blades. All major powertrain, electrical, and safety related parts are covered and if you opt for the zero deductable it's as close to the factory warranty you can get.
