If it now feels like a stock SS , I hope it does change.

Most (if not all) of the stock SS shifters I've seen feel sloppy and loose. The factory Hursts, on the other hand, feel tight and precise. I would think (and hope) that the "ultimate" Camaro would have an appropriate shifter. I don't think the stock SS shifter is up to the task.
