Exactly right. I have had 0 issues with my MT-82 and have run the piss out of the car. It pulls the wheels at the track and shifts better than it did new in fact. I changed the trans fluid to RP 75w-90 gear oil and has been the smoothest manual trans I have owned. There are a few who have had legitimate trans issues however it is not the pandemic that some make it out to be.

DA was 2,500' above SL. Corrects to 11.29@121 with a terrible 60'. Working to fix that. Good air with a mid 1.5 60' and it may be knocking on the 10 sec barrier. Valve cover has never been off.

Drive the car to the track with the A/C blowing and stereo blasting, change tires, rinse and repeat.
