The directions thing is very true, just a function of how our brains are wired. I never heard the "pipes" thing in my life.
I always say exactly what I am referring to ie: I just got an axle back Borla exhaust installed in my Camaro. BTW - I like points of interest to assist in navigation when driving to a place I have never been, but I can read a map as well or better than most guys. Just sayin'!
