Project Z-Pac
Project Z-Pac came about when all of us around the shop sat around brainstorming what a Z28 from GM would look like. We knew we needed to make it lighter and add some horsepower, so we called our buddies out at Texas Speed to see what we could put together. Altogether, we estimate we can shave about a hundred pounds while maintaining the already high level of performance that GM has brought to us. Our goal is to hit 500 horsepower to the wheels, as well. In our minds, this is what a Z28 package would look like.
Modifications include:
- Texas Speed heads/cam VVT3 package
- Texas Speed T304 1 7/8" headers
- Magnaflow 3" exhaust
- D2Forged MB2 Monoblock wheels (black w/ red pinstripe)
- CTS-V big brake upgrade (red calipers)
- Whiteside Customs Z-Pac exterior package
- BC Racing BR series coilovers
- Whiteline Stage 1 suspension package
