I have not seen any aftermarket front fascias or home-made mods attempting the gills that went missing from the concept to production, found under the fogs.

in person it looks ok. I wish i used/had flat black instead bc the result could also be interpreted as 4 rouge strips of electrical tape lol
if some company makes the inserts for a reasonable price, I'd cut and do it
