It is a complete pain in the ass. You have to push the latch back on each side and pull the seat out an angle. It's definitely easier with 2 people but, can be done by yourself. If I can do it, you can do it.
It may take you a lot of frustration, sweat, and swearing but, keep at it and you'll figure it out.
