Yea I get that they may not hold. The plan for me is to replace all 3 bolts and nuts on the front yoke this time. I don't have that much in front of it (~520RWHP) so there is a chance they will hold if installed correctly (and not "checked" later by a GM service tech (OVER)doing some recall check). Can't prove anything but there are witness marks on the remaining bolt heads.
I know there are alternatives from the aftermarket but this is cheap and easy experiment so it gets tried first. Cross your fingers!
