Taking a corner hard and hitting rough roads felt VERY loose in the stang. THe camaro feels much more solid to me likely because of the added weight. The Stang also seemed to need alot more RPMs to get the same kick in the pants. Guess thats what is needed when your lacking on Cubes.
That said, the mustang guys say they need to compare apples to apples but when you put the same gears in the rear end of a camaro they start saying its no fair.
Comparing a camaro SS to a GT500, what the hell. I guess apples to apples went out the door. THe performance model from ford compared to the standard SS from chevy.......
If you want to do that lets just throw the SC vette in there and see how the stang does against it as this would be a much more accurate comparision as both are SC, both are similiar weight.
The comment about put a whipple on a 5.0 and see what happens, put a whipple on an LS3 and see what happens. Take the blinders off boys, you can make alot of power with both of them, the stang is not magical by any means.
In the end, I fall back to my main point, I have yet to drive by a stang from the past 10 years and thing DAMN!!!! Even the shelby cobras do not do alot for me and again, looking at the sales numbers, its becoming a popular opinion.

Dude your all over the place with your argument..
Anyways, IMHO there is not one person here that has their first choice hot rod already on their driveway that wouldn't take the other brand to accompany it.. just my .02.. I'm dying to get my white with orange striped SS next to my 5.0.. Maybe it's just me..
