going for an install on the 28th(vacation week), they gave me a box that says flash logic(FLCAN),I googled it and it appears to be some kind of bypass module that can be used in a wide variety of cars. is this what I need to keep from surrendering my key?

This unit requires the use of 1 working key to be programmed. You do not have to leave any keys inside the car for this to work like 555u/556u/tbk3 models. "
